2024 has been a transformative year for our team as we have revolutionised how Generative AI supports local authorities, from launching EHCP Plus to empower councils in creating better outcomes for SEND children and families, to partnering with the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) to lighten the administrative load for social workers through QuickAction. Alongside these achievements, we’ve travelled across the UK, engaging with SEND professionals, social care leaders, and technology enthusiasts at over ten events, gaining invaluable insights and forging meaningful partnerships. As we look ahead to 2025, we are excited to onboard more councils, expand our impact, and continue driving innovation in public services, ensuring better outcomes for residents and empowering care teams to focus on what truly matters.

Spotlight #1 – EHCP Plus – Revolutionising Education, Health and Care Plans

It has been fantastic to see the progress we have made to creating and establishing EHCP Plus as a tool that empowers councils to achieve better outcomes for children and families.

Built in collaboration with Outcomes Matter Consulting and Datnexa, we have seamlessly combined our track record of delivering local government technology solutions with our growing expertise in the SEND and Children’s Services space. Improving outcomes for SEND children is a cause that the team at Agilsys Transform have a deep passion for and Generative AI technology has shown that it can improve how local authorities provide services for SEND children.

Our EHCP Plus solution, developed with local authorities for local authorities is showing immediate benefit with 2 councils already trialling and 20+ councils ready to trial in the new year.

We are excited to see where we go with EHCP Plus in 2025 but what is clear is that EHCP Plus is more than just an AI product; it’s a movement to transform how we approach SEND support. Together, we will make 2025 a year of even greater impact for children, families, and SEND professionals.

At this year’s National Children and Adult Services Conference (NCASC), we celebrated the launch of our strategic partnership with the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE). Together, we are tackling one of social care’s most enduring challenges: how to let social workers spend less time on admin and more time making a real difference in people’s lives.

Social care teams have long been weighed down by administrative tasks, leaving less time to focus on providing the compassionate, personalised care that truly matters. Enter QuickAction, our transformative platform designed to lighten the load. From simplifying the process of completing needs assessments to creating space for deeper connections with service users, QuickAction ensures that social workers can focus on what they do best—providing care.

Because let’s face it, no one ever said, “I became a social worker because I love filling out forms.” QuickAction takes the admin, so social workers can take the lead.

Our partnership with SCIE is all about bringing this vision to life. Together, we are shaping the future of adult social care with safe, ethical, and innovative technologies that empower care teams to focus on people, not paperwork.

Spotlight #3 – Meeting fantastic Local Authority partners, SEND professionals, Parents and Generative AI Geeks!

This year, the team had the privilege of travelling across the UK to attend more than ten events focused on SEND, Children’s Services, Adult Social Care, and Generative AI in Local Government. Each event brought unique opportunities to engage with passionate professionals, forward-thinking local authorities, and technology enthusiasts shaping the future of public services.

From connecting with tech leaders at DigiGov in London to discussing groundbreaking innovations with Scottish Local Authority leaders at Medville Castle in Midlothian, every stop offered fresh insights and meaningful conversations.

And yes, there’s something delightfully ironic about exploring the future of Generative AI in an 18th-century castle—it’s a testament to how tradition and innovation can thrive together. These events were not just about sharing ideas; they were about forging partnerships and gaining inspiration to continue driving impactful change in the sector.

We are excited to kick off our events in 2025 with a trip to the BETT UK Conference to be a leading voice in their SEND Village as they create a space to discuss how technology must support changes to SEND practices if we are ever going to provide children and families with the provision they deserve. W are also excited to kick off with more events in Adult Social Care with more webinars like the one we hosted last month on The Great Public Sector Makeover: AI’s Answer to Systemic Challenges.

Across Agilisys Transform, we have built a wealth of knowledge over the past year across Generative AI in local government and across Health – it is important that we share this and help the entire sector upskill, ensuring we can deliver better citizen outcomes for all!

Looking forward to a fruitful 2025.
